Welcome back to the lounge! Today, Nick chats with Cheryl Janis and Danielle Woodhouse from The Oasis Alliance. With fellow podcaster Cheryl, Nick two discusses podcasting and wellness design. With Danielle, he talks about nonprofit design and serving people in need. This is a wonderful episode to listen to if you’re interested in getting into podcasting or working for a nonprofit!

Who is Cheryl?

Cheryl works on evidence-based design to make workers and patients feel more comfortable in spaces in the San Francisco area. She began The Wellness Design Podcast with her friend, which is still going. Though a fun and successful endeavor, Cheryl now mainly focuses on her podcast for Porcelanosa, Healthcare Interior Design 2.0. She interviews creatives in the field of healthcare and interior design to discuss innovations and technologies.

The Oasis Alliance

After working for the Peace Corps, Danielle turned her love of art making and jewelry design into an interior design career, by way of staging. Danielle is a designer based in the D.C. area, focusing on The Oasis Alliance. She serves others by designing for people in need.
